The Veneto-based company exports the best of Made in Italy all over the world, with a business model that combines craftsmanship and technology.
What do the Royal Palace of Brunei, the Hilton Hotel in Tel Aviv, the Triumph Palace in Moscow, the Casino in Tbilisi and the Qatar Hotel in Doha have in common? Simple: the unmistakable touch of Meneghetti Mobili, the company responsible for the furnishings of these world-famous locations.
An example of excellence for Made in Italy, an inspiration for new generations of craftsmen: since 1986 Meneghetti Mobili has been exporting unique works, artistic compositions that have attractedthe curiosity of internationally renowned architects and designers. “What we do is sartorially sew a wooden suit to the needs of our customers,” explains Massimo Meneghetti, Managing Director. “For many years we have been working side by side with architects and designers to export Italian craftsmanship all over the world, a heritage of knowledge that has its roots in distant times and that is renewed, every day, thanks to the study of new technologies, the search for the best solutions, and a great passion for the tradition of Italian manufacturing”.
A success, that of Meneghetti Mobili, which promises to set the standard, overcoming the limits of craftsmanship and pushing the new generations to revalue a market that is too often considered niche. “Like all companies in our sector, we started from our territory, proposing works that recalledtradition without wanting to distort it”, says the CEO. “Very soon, however, we realised that the national market was narrow to us and that we could expand by proposing an artisanal product with an international aspect. Thus, we set about studying new technologies, implementing our skills, and developing a know-how in which art and innovation converged. Only in this way were we able to cope with increasingly complex requirements and develop excellent services modelled on the needsof important global players”.
Planning and clear ideas, these are Meneghetti Mobili’s secrets for expanding its business. “The craft sector needs to renew itself through a mix of art and technology”, says Meneghetti. “It is clear that Made in Italy cannot compete with the industrial furniture market, especially on an international level, but I believe that young people, today, have all the right cards to relaunch Italian craftsmanship through the study of new communication channels, which transcend national borders, and passion for this age-old tradition. Of course, major sacrifices will have to be made, we will have to invest in the future without immediately thinking about revenues, but even the small Italian craftsman will be able to open up to global markets in this way. We at Meneghetti Mobili, who started from a small family business, are an example of this”.
With a turnover that is growing year after year, a workforce of around twenty employees and a production facility of more than three thousand square metres, Meneghetti Mobili is a candidate to be one of the players in the Italian handicraft sector towards as yet unexplored goals, made up of new challenges, great ambitions and a bright future.
